Yes, there is sea salt in the Lemon Pepper blend.
Are your herbs Gluten free?
Yes, all of our herbs are Gluten free.
Is there MSG in your herbs or herb blends?
No. There are absolutely no MSG in any of our herb or herb blends.
What is the shelf life for the Herbs and Herb Blends?
They will last about two years, store in a cool dry environment.
Wreaths + Garlands
How long does it take for the wreaths to dry out?
Our wreaths arrive fresh and dry within two weeks.
What should I do when I receive my wreath / garland?
Upon receipt, immediately remove the wreaths and garlands from shipping box. Proper air circulation is necessary to aid the slow drying process.
Are the chili pepper accents on the wreaths organic and edible?
The chili's are not organic but they are grown naturally and are edible.
When Do Your Products Ship?
Wreaths, Swags & Garlands are seasonal - shipped fresh typically between November and January. Please allow up to 2 days processing time after the order is placed.
Garlic is seasonal - shipped fresh starting in July until we're sold out.
Wine, Herbs, Herb Blends, Herb Gift Boxes & Wild Rice - shipped year-round.
Can I ship different products to multiple addresses on one order?
Yes, you can ship whatever product you wish to whomever you want on the same order. It will be on step 2 Shipping. You will select 'SHIP TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES'. You will have to sign into your account and have the addresses saved in your address book.
Can you rush shipping?
We can arrange for rush delivery to most destinations within the United States. If we receive your order by 11 am PST Monday through Thursday, you'll receive your purchase within two business days; orders placed Friday through Sunday will arrive on Tuesday. Note: Rush service is not available for some oversize items or bulk orders. *California to California is two days max
How are shipping and processing charges calculated?
Standard and Rush Delivery prices are calculated based on the weight and location in which your order is delivered. All shipping charges are calculated via UPS & USPS real-time.
Can an order be shipped to a foreign country?
At present, we ship only within the United States, to its territories.
Can my order be shipped to a P.O. Box?
Yes but we do not recommend doing so unless you check your P.O. Box regularly, due to the fresh nature of many of our products.
Will you hold an order and ship it at a later date?
If you wish to place an order but delay its shipment to a later date, please indicate your delivery date before adding the item to your cart.
How long does it take to receive my order if I live on the East Coast?
It takes 6 business days UPS ground to get to the East Coast (not including the day it ships).

Placing an Order
What forms of payment are accepted for online purchases?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex, Paypal, ShopPay and AmazonPay.
How can I be sure an item is In Stock?
This information can be found on both the collection page and product page of the item you are purchasing. Many of our products are seasonal, therefore unavailable until seasonally prepared.
How can I check the status of an order placed online?
If you provide your email address when placing your order, we'll notify you once your order has been shipped. If you placed your order online, you can check your shipping status online 24 hours a day 7 days a week by logging into your account with your email and password. Will you confirm receipt of my online order?
Yes, if you provide your email address when placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation message shortly after placing the order. You may also print or note your order information, including order number, once your order is complete.

How can I change or cancel my order?
To make a change or cancel your order, please contact Customer Support at 707-743-1122. Please note : McFadden Farm cannot cancel an order for any item after the item has been shipped.
Is the credit card information I submit secure?
Yes. Every step of the online ordering process that requests credit card information employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. SSL renders information unreadable if anyone should attempt to intercept it.
Can I purchase or redeem a gift card online?
Yes. Using a gift card to make a purchase online is easy: At checkout, enter the gift card number into the promo code box. The gift card value will automatically be applied to your merchandise total. If the purchase amount is less than the card value, the balance will remain on the card and can be applied to a future purchase.
How are gift cards shipped?
All gift cards are sent via email. You (or your recipient) will receive an email with your gift card number to be redeemed at your convenience. Please note : All e-gift cards are sent to the email provided during checkout.
How do I determine the remaining balance of a gift card?
At the top of the website there is a link that says 'GIFT CERTIFICATES', There is a tab where you can check the balance. You can also call us at 800-544-8230 and we will be happy to tell you the balance.
Is there an expiration date for a gift card?
No, we invite you to make use of your gift card at your convenience.
What if I lose a gift card?
The McFadden Farm gift card should be considered as cash. We cannot replace a lost or stolen gift card, except as required by law.
Can a gift card be exchanged for cash? No, a gift card can be used only for purchases, except as required by law.
How do I submit a rating and a review for a product?
Thank you for taking the time to review products that you've purchased from McFadden Farm. To write a review, go to the product page and click "Write a Review" or "Review this Item". Then sign in by typing your email address and a nickname. (Although your nickname will appear, your email address will not appear online; we request it in the event we need to contact you with questions about your review.) Click to rate the item from 1 to 5 (one is the lowest rating and five is the highest). Note whether or not you recommend this product to other customers. Then write your comments regarding its quality, performance and ease of use. Please be as specific as possible in describing what you did or did not like about the product. Preview and approve your review, then click "Submit."
When will my rating and review appear online?
It may take 3 to 5 business days before approved reviews appear on the site. We reserve the right to withhold reviews that include: Obscenity, discriminatory language or wording inappropriate to a public forum. Advertisements, Spam content or references to other online sites, offers or products. Contact information, including email addresses, URLs, phone numbers or addresses. Comments that are critical of other posted reviews or their authors.
Sending a Gift
How do I have a gift order shipped to another address?
If you'd like a product to be sent to an address other than your own, you can indicate this when you checkout. You will uncheck the box that says 'I also want to ship to this address' under the Billing Details section.
How do I include a gift message?
With any order, we will be happy to write your gift message on one of our gift cards at no extra charge. When you are on the product page before you add the item to the cart you can put what you would like the note to say. If you forgot to do so then you can add it later in the checkout process in order notes.
How can I check the status of a gift order placed online?
If you provide your email address when placing your order, we'll notify you by email once your order has been shipped. For both online orders and phone orders, you can check the shipping status online, 24 hours after the order was placed, by signing into your account.

McFadden Farm is a small family farm in Potter Valley California that ships within the United States Monday-Friday standard UPS Ground and USPS, unless otherwise requested i.e. Rush Delivery options.
Please double check and confirm that the shipping is correct. There will be an $11.00 address correction fee for each package.
For standard delivery of items in stock, UPS will deliver as quickly as 5-7 business days. Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories will take longer and may incur additional charges that are calculated at checkout. Some heavy or oversized items cannot be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states. For these addresses or APO or FPO addresses, call our Sales Department at 1-800-544-8230.

At McFadden Farm, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction is our priority. We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage by calling 1-800-544-8230 5 days a week, 9:00am - 5:00pm (PT).
Please note: We cannot accept returns on special-order items, or on items damaged through normal wear and tear.
Wine Shipping Policy
In order to ship wine into your state it must be sent via UPS and requires an Adult Signature. If you are not able to sign for the package after multiple attempts, they will send it back to us at our cost. If you would like to try to receive the wine again we ask that you pay the cost of shipping a second time. We can either email you an invoice for that amount or take your credit card information over the phone. Please note: if you miss a delivery attempt, UPS allows you to schedule the delivery or hold at a pick up location so you can be sure to get it.
