Gently cut netting with scissors to remove braid without injury to bulbs.
Find the little string hook on the back of the braid and hang in a cool, dry place, preferably out of direct heat and sunlight.
Cooking with Garlic
Twist off one bulb at a time, working from top to bottom - the bulbs at the bottom have the longest stems so they will stay fresh the longest (about nine months to a year).
Fun Facts
Legend has it, Egyptian pharaohs gave garlic to their pyramid-builders for strength. Each bulb is packed with potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, selenium, beta-carotene, zeaxanthin, and Vitamin C.

Garlic Braids & Swags
Our garlic products are seasonal and made from California late harvest garlic. We begin braiding around the end of July and sell till they're gone. These braids will last you 6-9 months because the garlic bulbs are still on the stem, which keep them fresh and usable far longer than bulbs off the stem. They make the perfect summer grill mate and fall and winter holiday gifts.
