Our fresh organic herb swags make the perfect culinary gift and add fragrant and artful decor to any kitchen. Hang this fresh handcrafted bay leaf swag in the kitchen and to use in all you favorite dishes! Each swag is finished with a decorative raffia bow.

For best results…

Immediately remove from shipping box and give a quick shake to fluff up the leaves. 
All bay products are made to order, shipped fresh and should be opened immediately. Leaving the bay in its shipping box will damage it.
Hang indoors - out of direct sunlight, away from excess heat and moisture.
Keep out of freezing temperatures.
You can lightly spray with water to keep fresh for longer, but don’t mist repeatedly.

To use your bay in the kitchen…

In about 10-14 days the leaves will dry and turn a lighter green color and become more brittle. That is when they are great to cook with! Just pull off a leaf and use it right away. Or you can pull several, let them air dry and then store in a sealed jar. They’ll be good for about a year.
**Please note that bay is toxic to animals if consumed.
If your bay product has chilis, those are not organic, but they are edible.

    This is the second purchase through McFadden farms.
    I usually purchase 2 item one for my mother and then myself.
    Our first year we ordered the bay leaf wreath, but it was so generously full we were unable to use all of the leaves that year.
    So I downsized and purchased a bay leaf swag with chilis for both of us. Fresh bay leaves all year and you don’t feel guilty throwing away the old bay leaves.
    This will be perfect for the winter soup season & the weekly Italian sauces we cook.

    I was given a bay leaf wreath as a gift, loved it! So decided to send something to my sister in MAINE!     Best Wreaths and Swags EVER

    Wreaths and swags are all so lovely -- beautifully done and smell wonderful. I love getting them for the Holidays, and even more, I LOVE sending them to my clients and friends, and they are always so happy to receive such a unique gift. And useful too -- I had the leaves to soups and stews.

    I was a little disappointed in the swags because the leaves were clearly bug chewed some were broken which is understandable but I personally would not give someone bug chewed herbs and spices intended for cooking. I had two sent to my home for hand delivery. They were very much in the same condition. I hope the three that I had delivered directly were in a better condition. I would like to order again next year.
